Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Maintenance Planner plans and coordinates maintenance workorders, repairs, and servicing of all plant machinery and equipment. Incumbent develops planned work for the weekly work schedule. Anticipates and eliminates potential delays by planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Planning and coordinating all planned maintenance activities performed at the Oklahoma City location. All other duties assigned.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Consider safety when developing job plans, workorders, preventative maintenance “PM’s”, etc.
- Create and print PM’s.
- Schedule and assign PMs based on tech availability and equipment assignment.
- Verify/audit PMs as required by department manager.
- Track and communicate all applicable maintenance licensing, renewals, and equipment inspections with management.
- Data entry for various uses in SAP.
- SAP reporting as required by department and management team.
- Create workorders in system. Estimate labor hours required for work.
- Assign workorders and enter data (parts used, etc.) upon completion.
- Review work order feedback information to improve future planning efforts.
- Analyze work order feedback and execute follow-up actions as needed.
- Reconcile/audit maintenance parts and equipment inventory as required by department manager.
- Run reports on parts usage for equipment.
- Schedule delivery and pick-up of rental equipment.
- Liaison between management and contractors when scheduling work in the plant or on company property. Seeking advice from the Maintenance Manager on matters outside of knowledge or authority.
- Inform Maintenance Manager of abnormal or critical situations.
- Develop, modify, and/or maintain a downtime matrix to assist in reporting downtime problem areas with part usage that is beyond normal wear and tear.
- Complies with all safety and foods safety policies and regulations.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
