Fort Smith Debone
1st Shift 26:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
$20.00 - $27.50/Based on assessment.

Summary Operates, maintains, and repairs a machine by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform set up at the beginning of the production shift and change blades as needed.
Monitor the quality of the chicken feeding the deboning machines, checking the number of ribs, broken ribs, and weight of the chicken.
Keep in constant communication with production personnel in charge of operating the chicken sorting systems to ensure a constant feeding of chicken and guarantee the correct weight of the chicken.
Ensure that the deboning machines are working properly to meet production efficiency standards, quality standards and product yield.
Monitoring performance indicators of the deboning machines: Birds per minute, % rework generated, % bone free, scratch test (yield), downtime.
Perform adjustments, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting to ensure and maintain the performance indicators under standards of the deboning machines.
Mechanical adjustment, replacement of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical components.
Maintain the integrity and condition of the machines in good condition by means of preventive and autonomous maintenance.
Keeps the equipment clean.
Maintain up-to-date operational logs.
Notifies management if there is a machine malfunction.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training;
Language Skills
